Cats are booked when the house is quiet, because half the battle is the noise and the waiting. Brush-outs and de-shedding for long-haired cats, sanitary trims, and nails. Matted cats are handled the same way as matted bunnies, carefully, honestly, and across more than one visit if that is kinder than pushing through in one go.

- Most places around here stopped taking cats. Why do you?
- Because cats still need it, especially long-haired ones, and especially once they are older and stop keeping up with their own coat. It takes longer and it takes patience, which is the actual reason salons drop it.
- Do you sedate cats?
- No. Nothing here is sedated. If a cat is genuinely too distressed to continue, the appointment ends and you are told honestly, sometimes the right answer is a vet, not a groomer.
- My cat is badly matted. Can it be brushed out?
- Sometimes, sometimes not. A mat tight against the skin cannot be brushed out without hurting them, and shaving it off is the kinder option. Taylor will show you what she is looking at and let you decide.
